WHAT IS TEC? WHAT IS THE MISSION?
TEC stands for Teens Encounter Christ.
Believing that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the core message of our Christian faith, TEC offers youth and young adults the opportunity to encounter and integrate Christ’s Paschal Mystery (dying, rising, and going forth) into their lives at a transitional time when they are experiencing challenges, decisions, confusion, anxiety and doubts.

TEC:
- is a diocesan spiritual movement for older teens and young adults.
- encourages participants to enter fully into all that is being celebrated.
- The flow of the weekend aims to help young adults experience how much God loves him or her and is calling him or her to a fuller, joy-filled life through genuine discipleship and community.
- begins with a retreat weekend filled with dynamic reflections, music, sacraments, adoration, small group dialogue, and prayer.
- continues after the weekend as a TEC community evolving into a network of support that reinforces parish involvement, personal spiritual growth and authentic friendships.
