A Thank You from the Mueting's

We would like to take this time to thank all of our dear friends from TEC, Cursillo, and St. Patrick Parish. You are family to us. Your prayers and generosity and, most of all, the love that you have shown to us since Rich’s diagnosis, have been humbling and overwhelming. We are blessed beyond words. Rich will be done with his first round of radiation and chemotherapy before Christmas. Your prayers have been providing us with comfort and peace. Rich has had very few side effects to his treatments which is surprising his Doctors. It is your prayers that are working that miracle. “Thank you” doesn’t seem to be strong enough. We wanted to send a personal thank you card to each and every one of you but we are finding that it is nearly impossible since there are so many of you. We would appreciate your continued prayers as Rich moves onto the second phase of his treatment. God bless you all !!

With all of our gratitude and love,

Rich and Kris Mueting

< --- The TEC Weekend schedule has been updated!

TEC NEEDS YOU !!

We are in need of people to volunteer their time and talents to our wonderful TEC program. There are many areas in which we need help. If you are interested in any of the positions listed below, contact Kris Mueting at 309-762-3828.

Our Set-up/Clean-up Chairman needs an Assistant. This is a Core Council position that is open to an Adult who is interested in helping with the setting up before the weekend and the tearing down after the weekend. We also need more teens involved in this area as well.

Kitchen Helpers – Please consider volunteering in the kitchen. We are always in need of help preparing and serving the meals throughout the weekend. This is a great opportunity for family members of candidates to get involved ! Mondays are especially difficult since many people work during the day. Maybe you and a group of your friends would like to take on a particular meal each weekend. If you can’t help in the kitchen, consider dropping off some fresh baked cookies !! It wouldn’t be TEC without the fresh baked cookies !!

Hoot Helpers – Our Hoot Coordinator needs help with setting up the chairs and stage before the Hoot. Show up in the gym at 4:00 pm on Sunday to help ! This is a great opportunity for you to pay it forward and there is plenty of time to make the Hoot Mass at 5:30 !

“God loves a cheerful giver.”
