Frequently Asked Questions
As a parent, how can I find out more about the weekend my child will be attending?
After your teen has committed to attending a particular weekend, an informational "Parent's/Guardian Letter" will be mailed to your home. If you have any questions or concerns prior to receiving this letter, you can go to the Contact Page and send an email.
How do I sign up for serving on a TEC team?
To serve on a Presenting Team or a Wheat Team, you can click on the "Forms" Tab and fill out an application online or by printing an application and mailing it in.
How can I help support the TEC Program?
There are many ways that you can support the TEC Program.
What do I need to bring to a TEC weekend?
You will need to bring comfortable clothing, bedding, and bathroom items. We ask that you bring a nice outfit for Mass on Sunday. For you ladies, we ask that you not bring short skirts as you may end up seated on the floor. Please leave all watches, cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, and the like at home. You will find that there really isn't much time to use the above items, and we would like to avoid the worry of having those (often expensive) items turn up missing.
Will I miss a day of school?
Unless the weekend you plan on attending is scheduled on a three-day weekend (with Monday being the day off), you will miss a day of school. TEC weekends run from 9:00am on Saturday until 4:00 pm on Monday. We would ask that you contact the administrative office at you school to notify them of your absence.

How can I help support the TEC Program?
There are many ways that you can support the TEC Program.
- Prayer: The Program can not function without the prayerful support of so many.
- Financial donations: The Northwest TEC Program is completely run by volunteers. However, we can always use donations to cover extra costs of supplies, food, and building maintenance as we partner with Christ the King Catholic Church, and Cursillo.
- Cookies and desserts: These will not go to waste on a TEC weekend.
- Volunteers: Our volunteers are the backbone of the Community. We are always in need of help in the kitchen before, during, and after meal times.
